Community School Liason Worker
The CSLWs provide information and support to families whose children are experiencing difficulties at home or at school and cooperate with school staff and community agencies to prevent the breakdown of family-child-school relationships.
The CSLW at Sexsmith Secondary School is Connie Masse. She is at the school weekly and is willing to talk to any student about a personal concern or problem.

AADAC Counselor
AADAC Vision: A healthy society that is free from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs, and gambling.
AADAC (the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission) is an agency funded by the Government of Alberta to assist Albertans in achieving freedom from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs, and gambling.
An AADAC counselor offers support and counseling at Sexsmith Secondary School on a weekly basis to students who.
- struggle with addiction
- want to prevent harmful involvement
- want to know it they are at risk
- live in families where there is or has been alcohol or drug abuse
